Ruszyła kampania WORK=LIFE OF CAMPUS w ramach projektu RESET

The WORK=LIFE OF CAMPUS campaign is a continuation of activities carried out at the University of Lodz as part of the RESET Faces of Campus (FACES OF CAMPUS) campaign. The campaign aims to highlight aspects of academic life that are sometimes less visible but, nonetheless, important for scientific excellence. It was launched in 2022 with a digital exhibition entitled BEHIND THE SCENES, highlighting the work of women in science support positions.

This year's WORK=LIFE OF CAMPUS campaign will present spaces and initiatives of partner universities dedicated to the promotion of well-being at work and in studies. The most important assumption of this year's campaign is to share perspectives, experiences and approaches applied by researchers, teachers and students as well as institutional initiatives towards work- and study- life balance. In particular, the campaign draws attention to family topics such as parenting and caring responsibilities.

The Weekly Schedule exhibition, which gives an overview on a typical weekly schedule based on the experiences and lived realities of life of scientists and students with caring responsibilities is a part of the WORK=LIFE OF CAMPUS campaign. This way, the exhibition aims to highlight the diversity of work processes that must be coordinated and organised within working schedules and care responsibilities and leisure time.

The Creating Family-Friendly Universities and supportive environments constitute an important part of the campaign. In the videos the University of Lodz researchers explain which aspects are crucial for them in promoting work-life balance at universities. The videos present the benefits of family-friendly policies for both employees and institutions, and highlight the role of universities in leading the way towards more inclusive and supportive workplaces. In doing so, they offer guidance to individuals and organisations on how to create a healthier and more supportive work environment.
