Over the course of five intensive days, participants worked in international teams, taking their ideas from the initial concept stage through to investor-ready project presentations.
They were supported throughout this process by a series of workshops covering topics such as the Design Thinking methodology, led by Martyna Golczyńska; startup financing, delivered by Mihael Mikić, as well as the art of effective pitching, conducted by Tomasz Ciesielski. A meeting with Agnieszka Pakulska and Kamila Łąka from Avallon, during which students gained insights into the practical aspects of raising capital and the investment process from a venture capital perspective, was also an important part of the programme.
The programme culminated in 10-minute pitch presentations, during which the teams showcased their solutions and demonstrated their business potential. The winning team received prizes sponsored by Signify, presented during Friday’s finale by Artur Dubiel and Anna Przybył.
The project at the Faculty of Management, University of Lodz was coordinated by Dr Marta Baraniak, in cooperation with dr hab. Bogna Kaźmierska-Jóźwiak, Associate Professor at the University of Lodz.
We would like to thank all students, lecturers, experts and partners for their commitment, inspiring discussions, as well as five days filled with creativity and international collaboration.
