A meeting with staff from the Municipal Planning in Łódź (MPU) and the Office of the City Architect (BAM) was one element of the visit. Courtesy of the Office, the meeting was held on 20 April 2026, at the MPU headquarters at 19 Tadeusza Kościuszki Avenue in Łódź, in the lecture hall of the Lapidarium Detalu Architektonicznego (Architectural Detail Lapidarium).
Employees of MPU (Filip Błaszczyński and Tomasz Lewandowski) and BAM (Anastasiya Klimko and Dominik Antoszczyk) discussed the history of Łódź's spatial development, current urban planning issues and revitalisation projects implemented in the city centre over the past decade or so. The presentation prepared by MPU and BAM, and the ensuing discussion, generated considerable interest and appreciation from the meeting participants, contributing to a very positive experience during the study visit to Łódź by international guests of the University of Lodz.
