The international team she was a member of received the "Out of the Box Solution" nomination. The jury recognised the team's solution as the most creative of all the projects! The group worked on a strategy for the British startup Humble AI – an innovative "Neuro-AI" platform that democratises access to technology, supporting neurodiverse individuals. The team was tasked with developing a comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, specifically:
- selecting three strategic hubs: selecting target markets, justifying their potential for EdTech and identifying government funding opportunities (e.g., the Access to Work programme in the UK).
- planning community development (Grassroots Strategy) – designing a campaign to acquire the first 1,000 users with a limited budget of €5,000.
- planning an event budget – developing a cost breakdown for industry events (HR conferences, EdTech), a schedule of events and initiatives that build brand trust.
- creating the Neuro-AI Manifesto – a communication concept that redefines neurodiversity as a unique strength (power, not disability).
What did Sofiya tell the Student Science Club supervisor, dr hab. Joanna Cewińska, Associate Professor at the University of Lodz, about participating in the project?
The participation in the Humble AI case study allowed me to develop specific business skills:
- market entry planning from grassroots level to institutional partnerships,
- budget management: optimising low-budget, high-impact marketing activities,
- inclusive design: understanding how technology can realistically reduce cognitive load,
- public speaking: defending unconventional ideas in front of a committee of experts within a limited time of 10 minutes.
The participation in the competition was an inspiring challenge for our student. It allowed her to test herself in an international team, apply her knowledge and skills, as well as establish contacts with people from different countries. It demonstrated that technology should speak the "language of the user" not just the language of the programmer.
