How to Counteract Disinformation in Education? Teachers 4.0 Digital Age Project Meeting

As part of the international project Teachers 4.0 Digital Age: Tackling Disinformation and Promoting Digital Literacy through Education and Training in European Classrooms, recommendations have been developed on counteracting disinformation and developing digital and media competences. The meeting was roundtable meeting was held on 11 March 2026 at the Faculty of Management, University of Lodz.

The discussion focused on the challenges of functioning in a digital environment, the role of education in building critical thinking and the importance of responsible use of social media and new technologies. The conclusions from the meeting will be used to develop recommendations for decision-makers at the national and EU levels.
