National Education Day at the University of Lodz – Medals, Decorations and Awards for the Employees

On 14 October we celebrate the National Education Day. On that occasion, during the formal sitting of the Senate of the University of Lodz, after the commemorative speech by the University of Lodz Rector, Prof. Elżbieta Żądzińska, nearly four hundred employees of our University will be honoured with state decorations, medals and awards.

The ceremony will begin on Friday, 14 October at 2:00 p.m. in the Wacław Szubert Assembly Hall, Lindleya 5.

During the formal sitting of the University of Lodz Senate the following honours will be presented:

  • National decorations, 
  • Medals of the Commission of National Education, 
  • “University of Lodz in Service for the Society and Science” Medals, 
  • University of Lodz Golden Badges, 
  • Awards for the Best Academic Textbook, 
  • Rector’s Awards for scientific research, teaching and organisational activities 

On 14 October Rector's hours apply from 1:30 p.m.
